Description

Timothy is a perennial grass seed which can grow to 40-150 cm high. It grows naturally across most of the UK. It is included widely in mixtures for grazing and in particular hay.

Timothy is shallow rooting doing best on moist heavy soils. The species is very palatable and will cope with colder conditions.
