Description

Our new improved mix of 18 annual and perennial native and non-native wildflower species now contains perennial cornflower and poppy as well as dames violet and Maltese cross for a bold display of blooms over a long flowering season.  Including a mix of 7 meadow grasses, this mixture is ideal for a larger wildflower area or a more naturalistic look in your wildflower garden.

Suitable for most soil types and an ideal source of food for our insect pollinators, this wildflower meadow mix is easy-to-grow, with the annual species flowering in year 1 and the perennial species following on from year 2.  Once established it will come back year after year providing a colourful and interesting diverse display from May through to September. 

All our wildflower meadow mixes comprise 20% wildflowers and 80% grasses.  The native wildflower seed in our mixtures is sourced from stock grown in the wild in Britain.  It is then multiplied up commercially and mixed and packed in the UK so you can be confident you are buying native British wildflower seed.

For best results sow in the spring from March through to May, or in the autumn, from late August through to October.  Best sown onto a bare seedbed.

Sow at 5 grams to the square metre.
