Musk Mallow ( Malva Moschata)
Musk Mallow (Latin name Malva Moschata) is one of the most attractive of wild flowers. It has been grown as garden plant for many years. It grows as a bushy plant with large, pink, clear flowers. It produces many flowers.

When not in flowers the bright green divided leaves are also attractive.
Musk mallow prefers well drained fertile soil. It will establish on thinner soil as long as there is some underlying fertility and moisture. The plant gives off delicate dusky perfume in warm weather. It is popular with bees who visit the flowers for nectar and pollen.
You can plant Malva Moschata in the spring or autumn and it will grow to height of about 30-70 cm. It will grow easily from seed. Sow it where it is to grow an lightly push the seed into the soil.
