Red campion starts to flower as bluebells finish and the combination in woodland is striking.

Red campion looks well in a meadow as well as in the shade.

The colour of the flower can vary considerably

Sown from seed packets.

Sow in March/April or August/September

Sow into a weed free seedbed, to help spread the seed mix with weed free dry sand. Lightly rake over and firm the ground afterwards. Water if dry weather.
